Silence as a Spotlight: the child’s experience of silence at the Johann Jacobs Museum – SOLD OUT
7 April 2019 | 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Silence is not an experience of absence of sound, as much as it is an event that shines a spotlight on something that entices our sense of wonder. Wonder is what childhood is all about!
We will read and discuss some carefully selected stories together and run some experiments of our own, before sitting down for a Q&A with the famous South Pole explorer Erling Kagge.
Most suitable for children 4 years old and up. The session will take place in English.
Tickets can be purchased here: 35 CHF for adults, 5 CHF for children. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Payment via Paypal only. (If you do not have Paypal and would like to purchase tickets, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org).
Following our StoryLab, Erling Kagge will give a 15h talk on silence at the Johann Jacobs Museum. Parents are invited to stay on for the talk (no additional ticket required).
